The development of FSH202 involved an in-depth analysis of the fashion industry's current demands and educational best practices. Utilizing a Backward Design model,  I aligned the course objectives with the essential skills required in fashion design and merchandising, ensuring relevance to real-world scenarios.

The syllabus was structured to progressively build on students' existing knowledge while introducing new concepts in a logical sequence. Critical thinking was encouraged through critiques and class discussions. I also incorporated technology and hands-on projects to cater to various learning styles.

Regular consultations with industry professionals helped in updating the course content, ensuring it stayed current and practical. The inclusion of guest lectures and workshops provided students with valuable insights from the field, enhancing the learning experience.
